Function Description:
The TURBRO Split Air Conditioner is designed to provide cooling and heating for indoor spaces. It utilizes R32 flammable refrigerant, requiring careful handling during installation and maintenance. The unit consists of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, connected by refrigerant pipes, signal cables, and a power cable. The indoor unit features a front panel, filter, air outlet, air inlet, manual button, and deflector. The outdoor unit includes an air inlet, air outlet, wiring box, and pipe connections. The air conditioner can be operated via a remote control or a dedicated mobile application.
Important Technical Specifications:
The manual provides wiring diagrams and electrical specifications for different models. For 115V models (FM9K115, FM12K115), the minimum circuit ampacity is 14A, minimum wire cross-sectional area is 1.5mm², recommended wire gauge is AWG 16+, and recommended breaker size is 115V 30-Amp. For 230V models (FM9K230, FM12K230, FM18K230, FM24K230), the specifications vary:
- FM9K230: 8A, 1.0mm², AWG 18+, 230V 20-Amp Double Pole

Usage Features:

- iCLEAN Function: Cleans dust from the evaporator to improve cooling and heating efficiency. It runs automatically within an hour of activation.
- DISPLAY Function: Toggles the LED display on/off on the indoor unit panel.
- LIGHT Function: Automatically activates or deactivates the indoor unit display based on ambient brightness.
- Temperature Unit: Switchable between Fahrenheit and Celsius by long-pressing COOL and HEAT buttons.
- Child Lock: Activates/deactivates by long-pressing HEAT and MODE buttons, preventing accidental changes.
The AIR.ai app allows remote control and monitoring of the unit. It supports Android 6.0 - 13.0 and iOS 11.0 - 17.0, and offers voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant. The app connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Maintenance Features:
The manual outlines cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
- General Cleaning: The outer case should be wiped with a soft dry or wet cloth and neutral detergent. Volatile liquids should be avoided.
- Filter Cleaning: The air filter should be cleaned regularly (every 3-6 months, more frequently in dusty environments). - Pre-Season: Check for obstacles at air inlet/outlet, clean filter, install remote control batteries, check drain pipe for obstructions.
- Post-Season: Clean filter, remove remote control batteries.

- Refrigerant Leakage Detection: Methods include soapy water detection (checking for bubbles) and using a professional leak detector.
