6.3 Repair
DANGER
The device must not be repaired.
Danger to life due to malfunction!
Send the device to Turck for repair. Observe here the specific warranty conditions agreed with the shipment.
6.3.1 Returning devices
If a device has to be returned, bear in mind that only devices with a decontamination declaration will be accept-
ed. This is available for download at http://www.turck.de/static/media/downloads/Dekontamination_en.pdf and
must be completely filled in, and affixed securely and weather-proof to the outside of the packaging.
7 Decommissioning and withdrawal from service
7.1 Decommissioning
Decommissioning is described in the operating instructions for the particular device.
7.2 Withdrawing from service
After the useful lifetime of eight years has expired, the devices must be taken out of service. The devices are
designed for installation in large-scale industrial installations and equipment. The relevant laws and regulations
must be observed for the disposal of these installations and tools. They must not be included in normal household
garbage.
