Do not add engine oil over the
upper limit level.
Check the engine oil before
starting the engine or at least
in 5 minutes after the engine is
stopped.
When trying to use new oil from
a different manufacturer or oil
with different viscosity, drain
used oil completely before add-
ing new oil.

(1) Inspection
Perform inspection with the engine
stopped.
① Check the transmission uid lev

el through the sight glass to see
if the level is between the upper
and lower limits.
② If insufcient, add oil.

If engine oil gets on your skin, it
can irritate the skin and cause
a skin condition. Make sure to
clean your skin with soap and
water or hand cleaner thorough-
ly.
Make sure to cool down the
engine sufciently before drain-
ing oil. Oil is very hot and can
cause a burn if changing oil
right after the engine is stopped.
