Depending on age, weight and general health, the blood pressure

reached a dangerous level for you. Discuss your blood pressure values

The symbol indicates that denite pulse irregularities have been de-
tected during the measurement.
13. Irregular pulses and cardiac arrhythmia
In this case, the measurement result may deviate from your normal
blood pressure. Repeat the measurement.
If the symbol appears, this is usually no cause for concern. However,
if the symbol appears on a regular basis (e.g. several times in a week
when blood pressure is measured daily), consult a doctor for advice.
The device must not be used in place of a cardiac exam; it is only intend-
ed for early detection of an irregular pulse.
Measured results are automatically stored in the memory. The device
stores the measured values in two memories (one per user). Each
memory can store up to 90 readings and the average value.
When more than 90 measured values have been stored, the oldest val-
ue (No. 90) is deleted to allow the latest value (No. 1) to be recorded.
Press the Memory button to call up data. The average
value of the stored results is displayed with “AVG” (Fig-
ure 1).
Set the user whose data you wish to retrieve (see page 44).

14. Using the memory
The stored data remain visible in the display for around
30 seconds. The unit then switches itself off.
When the Memory button is pressed again, the value
measured last appears (Figure 2). Press the Memory
button repeatedly to call up further measured values.
The measured values are displayed alternately with
date and time.

Press the Memory key in the shut-off state to get to the
memory.
Set the user whose data you wish to delete (see page 44).
Deleting data
To delete individual measured values, recall the meas-
ured value you wish to delete. Press the Memory but-
ton again and hold down until the display firstly flashes
and is then replaced with dashes (Figure 3).
