How do I connect my Unicorn® Smartboard® to my device?
Press the smart button. If the board doesn’t connect automatically, go to Unicorn®
ScoreBuddy® app settings and press the reconnect button. You may need to press
the smart button again to reactivate pairing.
What devices can I use with Unicorn® Smartboard®?
Unicorn® Smartboard® uses Bluetooth® LE to connect with your device. For further
information please contact the device manufacturer. Only use Android or iOS devices.
Can I use any darts with my Unicorn® Smartboard®?
Yes, you can use any steel tip darts with the Unicorn® Smartboard®. We recommend
tungsten and steel darts for the Unicorn® Smartboard®. Though brass and stainless
steel darts do work, they have a higher registration fail ratio.
Can I rotate my Unicorn® Smartboard®?
Yes! Go to the Unicorn® ScoreBuddy® app connection menu and follow the
instructions to rotate & recalibrate your Smartboard®. Unicorn® recommends rotating
your dartboard frequently to evenly distribute wear.
My Unicorn® Smartboard® wobbles on the wall.
Not all wall surfaces are at. We recommend Unicorn® dartboard wedges which can
be found by searching ‘dartboard wedges’ at playwiththebest.com

Do keep your device within 1.5m of you
Unicorn® Smartboard®.
Do ensure you use steel tip darts when
using your Unicorn® Smartboard®.
Do keep your Unicorn® Smartboard®
indoors within a low humidity
environment.
Do fully close Scorebuddy® once
game-play has nished. This is to
conserve battery power.
DON’T
Don’t over tighten the Unicorn®
Smartboard® screw.
Don’t ever drill into or try to
disassemble your Unicorn® Smartboard®.
Don’t use your Unicorn® Smartboard®
near water or get it wet in anyway.
