If your Uniden Telephone is unable to make or receive calls, verify that you are within the base's range and that the line isn't already in use. Check both ends of the base telephone line cord and ensure the AC adapter is correctly plugged into both the base and the wall outlet. Try disconnecting the AC adapter for a few minutes before reconnecting it.
