Why can't I make or receive calls on my Uniden DSS7855+1?
    • P
      Patricia FisherAug 18, 2025
There are several reasons why you might not be able to make or receive calls. Ensure you're within range of the base. Check that the line isn't already in use by another call. Inspect both ends of the telephone line cord connected to the base. Confirm the AC adapter is plugged into both the base and the wall outlet. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the AC adapter. As a last resort, you can de-register and then re-register the handset.

Noise interference can be caused by nearby electronic devices. Why does the Caller ID not display on my Uniden DSS7855+1?
    • C
      Christopher ParksSep 8, 2025
The Caller ID may not display if the handset was picked up too quickly, specifically before the second ring. Also, if the call was placed through a switchboard, the Caller ID might not be displayed. You should also call your local telephone company to verify your Caller ID service is current, as there may be an issue with the service itself.
