What to do if Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace burner will not light with match?
    • S
      Steven ClayJul 31, 2025
If the burner on your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace won't light with a match, several factors could be at play. First, check if the LP gas tank is empty, and refill or replace it if necessary. Ensure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected by hand-tightening them without tools. Clear any obstructions in the burner tubes and check for bent or kinked hoses. Also, make sure the burner is properly engaged with the valve. Clean the venturi to remove spider webs or insect nests, and clear any clogs or blockages from the burner ports.

Why does Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace have sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height?
    • U
      uramirezAug 4, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height in your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace could be due to a couple of reasons. Check if the LP gas tank is out of gas. Also, the excess flow safety device may have been activated. To resolve this, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait 30 seconds, and then try lighting the fireplace. If the flames are still too low, reset the excessive flow safety device by turning off the knobs and the LP gas tank valve, disconnecting the regulator, turning the burner control knobs to 'HIGH' for 1 minute, turning them off, reconnecting the regulator, leak checking the connections, and then slowly turning on the LP gas tank valve, waiting 30 seconds before lighting the fireplace.

What to do if Uniflame GAD860SP flame blows out?
    • J
      Jeffrey WilsonAug 10, 2025
If the flame on your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace keeps blowing out, it could be due to a few reasons. If there are high or gusting winds, increase the flame height to the 'HIGH' setting. If the LP gas tank is low, replace or refill it. Also, the excess flow valve might have tripped; in this case, refer to the section on 'Sudden drop in gas flow' for troubleshooting steps.

How to fix Uniflame GAD860SP burner that will not light using igniter?
    • N
      Nicole WilsonAug 14, 2025
If the burner on your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace won't light using the igniter, start by wiping the electrode and burners dry with a cloth if they are wet. If the electrode is cracked or broken, replace it. Check if the wire is loose or disconnected, and reconnect it or replace the electrode/wire assembly. If the wire is shorting between the igniter and electrode, replace the igniter wire/electrode assembly. Finally, if the igniter is bad, replace it.

Why does Uniflame GAD860SP flame seem to lose heat in cold weather?
    • C
      cheyenne40Sep 12, 2025
If the flame on your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace seems to lose heat when burning in cold weather (below 50ºF), it could be because ice has built up on the outside of the LP gas tank due to a slow vaporization process. To resolve this, turn off the control knob and the LP gas tank. Replace the current tank with a spare LP gas tank and continue burning. Remember to store spare LP gas tanks in a well-ventilated area away from children.
  • S
    Sara JonesAug 25, 2025
Why does Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace have irregular flame pattern?
    • M
      Mary SmithAug 25, 2025
An irregular flame pattern in your Uniflame Outdoor Fireplace is likely due to clogged or blocked burner ports. Clean the burner ports to resolve this issue.
