How to fix Uniflame GBC1756WS-U igniter not working?
    • J
      Joseph LewisAug 16, 2025
If the burner on your Uniflame Grill won't light using the igniter, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the gas cylinder valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. If the gas cylinder is low or empty, refill or replace it. If you suspect LP gas issues, turn the gas cylinder valve to 'CLOSED,' wait 5 minutes, and then check for leaks. Also, inspect the wires and electrode for cooking residue and clean them with rubbing alcohol if needed. Wipe the electrode and burners dry if they are wet. If the electrode is cracked or the wire is loose, disconnected, or shorting, replacement parts may be needed. A bad igniter can also prevent ignition, in which case replacement parts are also needed.

Why won't my Uniflame GBC1756WS-U Grill burner light with a match?
    • T
      teresaruizAug 22, 2025
If your Uniflame Grill burner won't light with a match, there could be several reasons. Check if the gas cylinder is empty and exchange, refill, or replace it if needed. If the gas cylinder is not empty, there may be an obstruction of gas flow. Clear the burner/venturi tube and check for a bent or kinked hose. Also, make sure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected, tightening by hand only. Ensure the burner is properly engaged with the valve. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi or clogged burner ports can also prevent lighting; clean these as necessary. If you suspect LP gas issues, turn the gas cylinder valve to “OFF”, wait 5 minutes, and then check for leaks.

What causes a sudden drop in gas flow in my Uniflame Grill?
    • K
      kristinawileyAug 26, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height in your Uniflame Grill can be due to a couple of reasons. The most common is simply running out of gas, so exchange, refill, or replace the gas cylinder. Alternatively, the overfilling prevention device may have been activated. To reset it: 1. Turn control knobs to • (OFF). 2. Wait 30 seconds and light grill. 3. If flames are still too low, reset the overfilling prevention device: a. Turn control knob(s) • (OFF). b. Turn Gas cylinder valve to “CLOSED”. c. Disconnect regulator. d. Turn control knobs to (HIGH). e. Wait 1 minute. f. Turn control knobs to • (OFF). g. Reconnect regulator and leak check connections, being careful not to fully open valve. h. Light grill.

Why is the flame yellow on my Uniflame GBC1756WS-U?
    • S
      Stephanie CookeAug 28, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Uniflame Grill can be caused by a few things. If it's a new burner, it may have residual manufacturing oils; burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed to resolve this. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi can also cause this issue; clean the venturi. Food residue or grease on the burners is another possibility, so clean the burner. Finally, poor alignment of the valve to the burner/venturi tube can be the culprit; ensure the burner/venturi tube is properly engaged with the valve.

Why does my Uniflame GBC1756WS-U flame keep going out?
    • M
      Michael PerryAug 31, 2025
The flame on your Uniflame Grill might be going out due to several reasons. High or gusting winds can extinguish the flame, so avoid using the grill in such conditions. Also, check if you're low on LP gas and exchange, refill, or replace the gas cylinder if needed. The overfilling prevention device may have been activated.

    • M
      Morgan SchneiderSep 3, 2025
An irregular flame pattern on your Uniflame Grill, where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner, is typically due to clogged or blocked burner ports. Clean the burner ports to resolve this issue.

What to do about a persistent grease fire in my Uniflame Grill?
    • L
      Leslie MercerSep 9, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Uniflame Grill, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. Here’s what to do: 1. Turn control knobs to • (OFF). 2. Turn gas cylinder valve to “OFF”. 3. Leave lid in closed position and let fire burn out. 4. After grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

What to do if my Uniflame GBC1756WS-U Grill has a flare-up?
    • R
      Robert BarnesSep 12, 2025
If your Uniflame Grill experiences a flare-up, it's likely due to grease buildup or excess fat in the meat. Remove and clean all grill parts. Trim fat from meat before grilling to prevent future flare-ups. Also, excessive cooking temperature can cause flare-ups, so adjust to a lower cooking temperature.

Why is the inside of my Uniflame GBC1756WS-U lid peeling?
    • L
      Lindsay HallSep 12, 2025
If the inside of your Uniflame Grill lid is peeling, it's likely due to baked-on grease buildup that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. Clean all grill parts.
