What to do if my Uniflame NPG2322SS Grill burner will not light using the ignitor?
    • J
      james02Aug 16, 2025
If your Uniflame Grill burner won't light with the ignitor, several factors could be at play. First, check if the LP gas tank is low or empty and replace it if needed. A gas leak could also be the culprit, so follow the leak checking instructions in your owner's manual. Cooking residue on the wires or electrode can interfere with ignition; try cleaning them with rubbing alcohol. If the electrode and burners are wet, wipe them dry with a cloth. Finally, inspect the electrode for cracks or breaks. If you notice wire issues, it may need reconnection. If the electrode is cracked or broken, or the wire is loose, disconnected, or shorting, you should contact customer care.

Why does my Uniflame NPG2322SS Grill have a sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height?
    • A
      Anna ThompsonAug 18, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height in your Uniflame grill can occur if the LP gas tank is empty, in which case you should replace it. It can also happen if the excess flow valve has tripped, activating a safety device. To resolve this: 1. Turn the regulator/control knob to the “OFF” position. 2. Wait 30 seconds, then try lighting the grill again. 3. If the flames are still too low, reset the excessive flow safety device: a. Turn the regulator/control knob to “OFF”. b. Remove the LP gas tank. c. Wait 1 minute. d. Reattach the LP gas tank. e. Perform a leak check. f. Light the grill.

What to do if my Uniflame NPG2322SS burner will not light with a match?
    • J
      jason82Aug 21, 2025
If your Uniflame grill burner won't light with a match, there might be a few reasons. First, check if there is no gas flow because the LP gas tank is empty and replace it if needed. Also, a gas leak could be the reason, so follow the leak checking instructions in your owner's manual. Ensure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected by hand-tightening them. Obstructions of gas flow, spider webs, or insect nests in the venturi, and clogged or blocked burner ports can prevent lighting. In these cases, you should clear burner tubes, clean venturi and burner tube, and clean burner ports.

Why is the inside of my Uniflame NPG2322SS Grill lid peeling?
    • O
      ocervantesAug 25, 2025
If the inside of your Uniflame grill lid is peeling, it could be due to baked-on grease buildup that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. Thoroughly clean the lid to remove this buildup. If the lid is coated/painted and after cleaning you can see steel, contact customer care.

Flare-ups on your Uniflame grill can be caused by grease buildup. Make sure you remove and clean all grill parts. Excess fat in the meat can also cause flare-ups, so trim the fat before grilling. Finally, excessive cooking temperature can be a factor; adjust to a lower temperature.

What to do if my Uniflame NPG2322SS has a flame blow out?
    • R
      Richard MarshAug 30, 2025
If your Uniflame grill flame blows out, high or gusting winds could be the reason, so avoid using the grill in high winds. It could also be due to low LP gas, so replace the LP gas tank. Another cause can be that the excess flow valve tripped and the safety device may have been activated.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Uniflame NPG2322SS?
    • R
      Robert EwingSep 2, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Uniflame grill could be due to several reasons. If it's a new burner, it may have residual manufacturing oils, so burn the grill for 15 minutes on high with the lid closed. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi, or food residue and grease can also cause this issue. Also, ensure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the valve.
