OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM
CALL AND BUSY STATE MANAGEMENT
The 2GO! system is designed for small systems and manages one call at a time also if secondary door units
are installed. The system works as follows when a video door phone or door phone call is made.
A call from a main or secondary door unit switches the entire system to pick-up waiting time mode (60
seconds). Busy state is prolonged by another two minutes when the user’s handset is picked up (maximum
conversation time). The system returns to standby mode at the end of the conversation or after the
timeout.
An auto-on command from an indoor station to the door unit switches the entire system to answer waiting
time mode (60 seconds). Busy state is prolonged by another two minutes if the apartment station user’s
handset is picked up (maximum conversation time). The system returns to standby mode at the end of the
conversation or after the timeout.
An intercom call switches only the indoor stations to busy mode for the pick-up time (60 seconds). This
mode can be interrupted by the indoor station. When the called user picks up, busy state is prolonged for
other 10 minutes (maximum intercom conversation time). The indoor stations return to standby mode at
the end of the conversation or after the timeout.
The conversation can be interrupted at any moment by an apartment station call.
A oor call will not affect the system busy state.
DOOR UNITS FUNCTIONS
CALL FORWARDING
The following cases may occur when a call button is pressed according to the state of the door unit:
Door unit free: the door unit will output the call forwarding tone (3 beeps in sequence). The door unit will
output an end of conversation tone (5 beeps in rapid sequence) at the end of the communication.
Door unit busy: the door unit will output a warning tone (5 beeps in sequence) and the yellow LED on the
front will blink until busy mode ends. Press the call button again when busy mode ends.
ELECTRICAL LOCK MANAGEMENT
The door units have two terminals for electrical lock capacitance discharge (SE-, SE+).
The electrical lock is controlled in the following cases:
Whenever the hall button is pressed (terminals PA, GND).
When a door open command is received from an indoor station according to the con guration (“free” or
“privacy”) of the AUX dip switch:
“Privacy”: the indoor station button can operate the door unit electrical lock only while a voice
conversation with the door unit is in progress or when following a call the user has not yet picked up (or
following door unit auto-on command).
“Free”: the indoor station door opener button will only open the door unit electrical lock if the user
belongs to the door unit column. This column is de ned by door unit con guration and programming. Do
not leave main stations in “free” door opener mode in systems with more than one call station.
This function is typically used for secondary stations.
SURVEILLANCE CAMERA AUTO-ON FUNCTION
The Master video door phone station (ID=1) auto-on function works by pressing the indoor station button
dedicated to this function (button ). Surveillance camera can be connected to the Master door unit
(terminals V3, V5) using a relay box 1038/69 controlled by terminals T, GND. The surveillance camera
pictures can be switched in sequence when the Master auto-on function is running by pressing the button
several times.
Pick up the handset to establish audio and video communication with the Master door unit. The door can be
opened at any time.
Program the Master door unit (see programming section) for setting up the surveillance camera auto-on cycle
function.
