Installation Guide
You & i-Line Wall Mounted Washbasin Drawer Unit
Important Information
Read the instructions carefully.
Check the product for any signs of damage and remove any protective film.
It is the installer’s responsibility to carry out a thorough assessment of wall type and the
weight of the cabinet and use appropriate fixings.
Care should be taken when drilling walls to avoid any hidden wires or pipes.
To prevent the cabinet falling down this product must be fixed using the wall attachment
device provided.
Installation
It may be necessary to snap the wall plate in half at the marked line
to create two wall brackets. Mark a horizontal line on the wall at the
required height X---X. Ensure that the wall brackets will fit inside the
width of the cabinet and are equally spaced to ensure even distribution
of weight. Secure the wall brackets to the wall using suitable fixings.
Hook the unit onto the wall brackets ensuring that the brackets are securely
Located.
To adjust the position of the cabinet on the wall, use the two screws in each
hanging bracket. The top screws will move the cabinet closer to or further
away from the wall. The lower screws will move the cabinet up and down.
Drawer Box Removal and Replacement
To remove the drawer box, pull the drawer out a short distance, lift
it upwards and back to release it from the runners.
To re-fit the drawer box, push the runners fully rearward into the
cabinet. Place the drawer box on the runners and push backwards.
An click will be heard as the drawer engages onto the runners.
Adjustment
To raise or lower the drawer front, remove the cover caps on both sides
of the drawer and use a screwdriver to rotate the screws as shown.
To adjust the drawer front left to right, remove the cover caps on both sides
of the drawer and use a screwdriver to rotate the screws as shown.
Adjust the screws until the drawer front is equally spaced on the cabinet.
Care & Maintenance
Furniture should be regularly dusted with a soft cotton or micro-fibre cloth.
For more thorough cleaning, occasionally wipe your furniture with a soft cloth
dampened with a mild detergent solution. Surfaces should be thoroughly
dried with a lint free cloth to prevent watermarks. Under no circumstances
should solvent cleaning agents, bleach or abrasive cleaning agents or cloths be
used. Spills should be removed immediately using a clean cloth. All bathroom
furniture will deteriorate through prolonged periods of exposure to high levels of
condensation so bathrooms must be adequately ventilated using suitable extraction.
Failure to ensure adequate ventilation may invalidate your guarantee.

You & i-Line Wall Mounted Washbasin Drawer Unit

Function Description: This unit is a wall-mounted washbasin cabinet with drawers, designed to provide storage in a bathroom setting.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Wall Attachment: Requires secure fixing to the wall using provided wall attachment devices. The wall plate may need to be snapped in half to create two wall brackets.
  • Weight Distribution: Wall brackets must be equally spaced to ensure even distribution of weight.
  • Adjustability:
    • Cabinet Position: Two screws in each hanging bracket allow adjustment of the cabinet's distance from the wall (top screws) and vertical position (lower screws).
    • Drawer Front: Cover caps on both sides of the drawer conceal screws for vertical and horizontal adjustment of the drawer front.

Usage Features:

  • Drawer Removal: Drawers can be removed by pulling them out a short distance, lifting upwards, and pushing back to release from runners.
  • Drawer Re-fitting: Push runners fully rearward, place the drawer box on the runners, and push backward until a "click" is heard, indicating engagement.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Cleaning: Dust regularly with a soft cotton or micro-fibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth to prevent watermarks.
  • Avoidances: Do not use solvent cleaning agents, bleach, or abrasive cleaning agents/cloths.
  • Spill Management: Remove spills immediately with a clean cloth.

You & i-Line Wall Mounted Washbasin Door Unit / You & i-Line Wall-hung Wall Unit

Function Description: These units are wall-mounted cabinets with doors, providing storage for bathroom essentials. The door unit is specifically for washbasins, while the wall-hung unit is a general-purpose wall cabinet.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Wall Attachment: Similar to the drawer unit, these require secure fixing to the wall using provided wall attachment devices, potentially involving snapping a wall plate in half for two brackets.
  • Weight Distribution: Wall brackets must be equally spaced for even weight distribution.
  • Adjustability:
    • Cabinet Position: Two screws in each hanging bracket allow adjustment of the cabinet's distance from the wall (top screws) and vertical position (lower screws).
    • Door Hinge Adjustment:
      • Squaring: Screw A adjusts the door to be square against the cabinet.
      • Distance from Cabinet: Screw B adjusts the door's distance from the cabinet.
      • Vertical Adjustment: Slacken screw C, adjust the door vertically, and re-tighten.

Usage Features:

  • Hinge Removal:
    • From cabinet: Press button D.
    • From door: Remove screws E.

You Toilet Unit Without Cistern / You Toilet Unit With Cistern

Function Description: These units are designed to house a concealed cistern for a WC, providing a neat and integrated look in the bathroom. The "Without Cistern" version requires a separate cistern, while the "With Cistern" version is supplied with one.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Cistern Integration: The front top fascia and lower front panel are removable to allow for cistern installation.
  • Wall Attachment: The WC unit is secured to the wall by screwing stretcher plates to the gable panels of the cabinet. Holes must be marked and drilled in the wall, and suitable fixings used.
  • Panel Customization: The lower fascia panel can be cut with a jigsaw to accommodate soil and cistern flush pipes.

Usage Features:

  • Cistern Installation: Access to the cistern is gained by removing the front top fascia and lifting the lower front panel.
  • Pipe Accommodation: The lower fascia panel is designed to be cut to fit necessary plumbing.

Maintenance Features:

  • Sealing: All cut edges must be sealed with PVA glue or good-quality, sanitary-grade silicone sealant to prevent moisture ingress.

You Mirror Cabinet

Function Description: This is a wall-mounted mirror cabinet, typically including integrated lighting and a shaver socket, designed for bathroom use.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Electrical Installation: Requires connection to mains electrics. Installation must be carried out by a Part P registered electrician in accordance with IEE & Building Regulations.
  • Light Source: The light source is not replaceable; the entire luminaire must be replaced when the light source reaches its end of life.
  • Terminal Block: Must be rated at 240V 6A with 4 terminals (screw-type or screw-less). Cable tails do not need crimping.
  • Driver: Can be screwed to the internal top rail or left to hang in the void.
  • Mains Supply Protection: Must be used with a mains supply protected by a 30mA Residual Current Device.
  • IP Rating: IP20 Rated.
  • Bathroom Zones: Only suitable for installation in Outside Zones in a bathroom. Not suitable for zones 0, 1, or 2.
  • Wiring Diagram (for B & C):
    • Live is Brown (Live supply can be Brown or Red).
    • Neutral is Blue (Neutral supply can be Blue or Black).
  • Wall Attachment: Requires secure fixing to the wall using provided wall attachment devices.
  • Weight Distribution: Wall brackets must be equally spaced for even weight distribution.

Usage Features:

  • Overhead Light: Fitted onto the top of the cabinet.
  • Shaver Socket: Integrated into the cabinet.
  • Electrical Connections:
    • Cable connector from overhead light to driver port (A).
    • Bathroom electrical supply to driver (B).
    • Bathroom electrical supply to shaver socket cable (C).
  • Testing: After connection, turn on electrical supply and check light and shaver socket function.

Maintenance Features:

  • Electrical Safety: Always turn off mains electric prior to commencing any work on the cabinet.
  • Regular Cleaning: Dust regularly with a soft cotton or micro-fibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth to prevent watermarks.

You Bath Side Panel

Function Description: This panel is designed to cover the side of a bath, providing a finished look and concealing plumbing.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Height Alignment: The bath height should be set to suit the panel, ensuring the panel sits 4mm proud of the bath rim when fitted.
  • Keku Clips: Three black Keku clips are screwed to the underside of the wooden batten under the bath rim, and matching clips are screwed to the rear of the bath panel.
  • L-Brackets: If fitting between two walls, two "L" brackets secure the panel to the walls. If used with an end panel, one "L" bracket secures to the wall, and a Keku clip (supplied with the end panel) secures the other side.

Usage Features:

  • Installation Sequence: If an end panel is also being installed, fit the end panel first.
  • Clip Engagement: Keku clips ensure the panel engages securely with the bath structure.

Maintenance Features:

  • Sealing: Once fully installed, seal all joints around the bath panel with a good quality, sanitary-grade silicone sealant.
