Overview

This document describes the V-TAC 9.6kWh Rack Mounted Lithium Battery, model VT-48200B (SKU 11523), a 48V 200Ah series product designed for various energy storage applications.

Function Description

The battery pack utilizes lithium iron phosphate (LFP) as the positive electrode material, making it suitable for telecom, off-grid, grid-connected, and home energy storage systems. It provides backup power to power systems and supports parallel connection to increase backup time or power. The battery system incorporates a high-performance Battery Management System (BMS) for protection and monitoring.

Key functions include:

  • Monitoring: The BMS monitors current and voltage, ensuring safe operation.
  • Alarm: It supports abnormal alarms for conditions such as overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, short circuit, high and low temperature, battery failure, and hardware failure.
  • Communication: Dual RS485 interfaces are provided for uploading alarming and status data via RS485/CAN communication protocol.
  • Parallel Connection: The battery supports multiple battery packs in parallel, with RS485/CAN communication supporting up to 6 groups without a control unit, or a maximum of 15 groups with a control unit.
  • Balance Function: It includes a cell balance function.
  • Extended Function: Supports extended SNMP V2, SNMP V3, LCD, and anti-theft features.
