Auto LCD Off: This feature allows you to set a timer for the LCD display to
automatically turn off after a certain period of inactivity to save power, while the
recording continues unaffected. Options for the timer include 30 seconds, 1
minute, 3 minutes, or you can choose to keep the LCD display on continuously.
Device Sound: Adjust the playback volume of the device, with 0 being mute and 5
being the maximum volume.
Prompt Tones: The dash cam comes with a set of five default prompt tones for
various alerts such as power on / off, key presses, file locking, formatting, and
stop recording notifications. These tones are activated by default.
Frequency: To ensure your video quality isn't affected by regional electrical
standards, you can select a 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency setting to match the
electrical system in your country.
System Info: Access information about your current dash cam model, the
firmware version, and find further details on the Vantrue official website.
Default Setting: Reset your device to its original factory settings.
C. Files Review and manage recorded video and photo files.
Browse through the recordings and photographs captured by the camera in the
following categories:
1. Event: This section contains videos that are automatically saved when the G-
Sensor detects an impact or if you manually protect a video clip. The naming
convention for these files begins with the date and time, followed by '_E' to
denote an event, for example, "20300128_140633_0008_E_A.MP4".
2. Normal: Here, you'll find all the standard footage that the camera records
continuously. This includes videos from loop recording, parking mode, and time-
lapse recordings. Files are named with a sequence that represents their
recording type, such as "20300128_140633_0008_N_A.MP4" for loop recordings,
"20300128_140633_0007_P_A.MP4" for parking mode, and
"20300128_140633_0006_T_A.MP4" for time-lapse videos.
3. Photo: All the still images taken with the camera are stored here.
4. All: A compilation of all the standard and event-triggered videos saved by the
camera.
