The safety guard must be closed for the tool to rotate.
Bowl can be raised with the guard open, but tools rotate
(jog) only when the guard is closed and with the two-
handed operation function.
Bowl lift and “JOG” function
The mixer is provided with a “JOG” function.
Before the bowl reaches its top position, the tool starts
rotating to dig its way into the ingredients.
The bowl lift requires two-hands operation for safety
reasons.
Bowl detection with non-contact sensor
The non-contact sensor for the bowl detection is
located on the back of the bowl arms.
Dismantling the safety guard
The safety guard is dismantled by open-
ing and then lifting the safety guard out
of the hinges. The safety guard can then
be machine washed.
