Vehicles with tyre repair kit 3
The vehicle tools are in the right-hand
compartment of the luggage
compartment, together with the tyre repair
kit.
To open the compartment, release cover
and open - see page 213, Fig. 18317 S.
Changing wheels
There may be a tyre repair kit instead of a
spare wheel – see page 219.
To ensure your safety, make the following
preparations and observe the following
information when changing wheels:
z Park the vehicle on a level, firm and non-
skid surface.
z Switch on the hazard lights, apply the
handbrake, select first or reverse
(manual transmission or Easytronic) 3,
or place selector lever in P (automatic
transmission) 3.
z Correctly set up the warning triangle 3.

z Remove spare wheel from luggage
compartment – see page 211.
z Before raising the vehicle, set the front
wheels to the straight-ahead position.
