Maintenance
Always unplug the unit from the mains before carrying out any 
maintenance or cleaning the unit.
Cleaning the body of the dehumidifier
Use a soft cloth to wipe the unit clean.
Never use strong detergents, gasoline or chemically treated 
cloths as these may damage the casing.
Cleaning the air filter
This dehumidier is equipped with 2 lters:
1. Dust lter
2. Activated carbon lter (for capturing the particles of dust from 
the air and preventing the production of bacteria).
Dust filter
Pull out the lter holder and remove the active carbon lter (C) 
(Fig. 8, 9). Use a vacuum cleaner, or rinse the lter lightly with 
water. If the lter is particularly dirty, use warm water and some 
mild detergent (Fig. 10).
Make sure that the lter is absolutely dry before putting it back.
Do not expose the lter to sunlight.
Active carbon filter
The active carbon lter, placed under the dust lter, is not 
washable. Its life time is variable and depends on the ambient 
conditions where the unit is used.The lter should be checked 
periodically and replaced if necessary.
Storage
If the dehumidier is not used for a longer period of time
   please:Turn the unit off, unplug and clean it.
Empty the water tank completely and wipe it clean.
Clean the dust lter.
Cover the unit and store where it will not get direct sunlight.
Trouble shooting
Before leaving the dehumidier for service, check the following:
Problem Possible cause
The unit doesn’t run. Is the unit plugged in? Is the mains supply in the building on?
Is the water full indicator showing red? (If so, the water tank is full or the tank is
not in correct position.)
The unit produces
little or no water.
Is the filter dusty or dirty? Is the air intake or utput blocked?
Is the humidity in the room already quite low? Is the room temperature below 8°C?
The humidity in the
room is not reduced.
Are windows and doors closed in the room?
Is there something in the room producing lots of humidity?
High noice level. Is the unit positioned uneven so vibration is created?
Never try to repair or dismantle the product yourself. All work must be carried out by an authorized professional.
