The Vectorfog DC20+ ULV Fogger is a cordless, motor-operated machine designed to generate cold fog, mist, or aerosol, producing tiny droplets known as ultra-low volume (ULV). This device is primarily used for applying disinfectants, insecticides, deodorizers, biocides, and fungicides. Its ability to produce droplet sizes between 5 and 50 microns makes it effective for targeting germs, insects, fungi, and odors, as the cold fog can penetrate hidden corners of the fogged area.
Function Description:
The DC20+ operates on a built-in battery, allowing for cordless operation after charging. It features a specially designed nozzle that allows users to adjust the droplet size between 5 and 50 microns while maintaining a minimum flow rate of 0.25 liters per minute (LPM). The machine is compatible with various solutions, including water, oil, and air fresheners. It is generally quieter than thermal foggers, making it suitable for use in urban environments.
Multipurpose Use:
The fogger is suitable for a range of applications, including:
- Pest control in apartments, flats, houses, and other buildings.
- Regular fumigation to prevent epidemic diseases in schools, buses, subways, trains, planes, and institutions.
- Removing indoor and outdoor odors for a cleaner environment.
- Disinfecting animal shelters to eradicate harmful microorganisms.

Usage Features:
- Charging: New machines come with approximately 30% battery life and require a full charge before first use. The battery takes 3 hours to fully recharge. A red light indicates ongoing charging, while a green light signifies a full charge. The charger should be unplugged once the battery is fully charged. The indicator on the handle turns red when the battery is below 30%. The machine should not be used while recharging. Only the designated charger should be used.
- Filling the Tank: Chemicals should be pre-mixed before filling the tank. The tank capacity is 2 liters. The solution is poured through the solution inlet, and the cap must be securely closed to prevent leakage. The tank should not be filled while the battery is charging. Powder, viscous liquids, and flammable solutions such as strong acids, strong alkalis, or petrol should not be used.
- Operating the Unit: The machine is turned on by sliding the switch to the ON position and turned off by sliding it to the OFF position.
- Adjusting Droplet Size: The droplet size can be adjusted by turning the nozzle on the front of the machine. Turning clockwise reduces the droplet size, while turning anti-clockwise increases it.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning Instructions (Water-Based Liquids):
- After fogging, any remaining liquid in the tank should be poured into a suitable container using a funnel.
- Operate the fogger for 1 minute with the nozzle opened to the largest droplet size setting to clear any existing liquid from internal tubes.
- Fill the fogger with clean water and operate for another minute. Remove any excess water from the tank.
- Cleaning Instructions (Emulsions):
- Follow the steps for water-based liquids (Step A).
- Fill the tank with an appropriate solvent for the chemical used.
- Repeat Step B to flush out any chemical residuals.
- Repeat Step C.
- Allow the tank to dry before storing the machine.
- General Cleaning: It is crucial to clean the fogger after each use.
Safety Precautions:
- The battery charger is designed for AC 110V – 240V power supply/60Hz.
- Do not use damaged power cords, plugs, chargers, or sockets.
- Avoid touching the plug, charger, or switch with wet hands.
- The charger is not waterproof and should not be used or stored in humid or wet conditions.
- Do not charge or store the machine above 95°F (35°C) or below 50°F (10°C). Do not expose or use the machine above 104°F (40°C).
- Do not drop, heat, cut, or disassemble the machine.
- Do not use the machine near combustible or inflammable materials.
- When using the machine inside vehicles, secure its position to prevent electric shocks and chemical leaks.
- Wear safety equipment (mask, anti-contamination clothing, gloves, etc.) when using noxious materials.
- Do not inhale the cold fog, as micro-droplets can remain airborne and be absorbed by the lungs, potentially causing serious injury or death depending on the chemical used.
- Only use the designated charger.
- Do not fill the solution tank while charging.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or alter the charger or machine, as this will invalidate the warranty.
- Do not lean the machine on its side with chemicals in the tank to prevent leaks and damage.
- Do not fill the solution tank with powder, viscous liquids, or flammable solutions like strong acid, strong alkali, or petrol.
- Contact the supplier if the machine or charger is faulty.
Warranty:
The product comes with a twelve-month warranty from the date of original purchase, covering defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. The purchaser must register the product for warranty coverage on the Vectorfog website (VECTORFOG.COM/WARRANTY) and provide proof of purchase. The warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, operated incorrectly, resold, fitted with non-original parts, or damaged by inexpert repair. Using unapproved chemical solutions or solutions outside the recommended pH range (4-10 at 200 PPM) will also void the warranty. Damage caused by corrosion will invalidate the warranty. Operators must ensure functional safety before use and repair any loose or leaking components. The unit is not explosion-proof, and flammable substances or acids should be used with caution to avoid fire or explosion risks. Operators should avoid fogging towards hot surfaces or electric cables and in rooms where temperatures exceed 35°C. The unit should be positioned safely and upright, and not left unattended during stationary use. If the machine stops fogging unintentionally, turn it off immediately and contact the supplier if the issue persists.
