Safety Data Sheet are se aled units whi ch are not
hazardous when used according to the recommendations of the manufacturer.
Under normal conditions of use, the electrode materials and liq
uid electrolyte they contain are not exposed to the
outside, provided the batte ry integrity is maintained and se als re main intact. Risk of expo sure only in ca se of
abuse (mechanical, thermal, elect rical) which leads to the activation of safety valves an d/or the ru pture of the
battery cont ainer. Ele ctrolyte leakag e, elect rode ma terials reaction with moi sture/water or b attery
vent/explosion/fire may follow, depending upon the circumstances.
