How the Fish Finder Finds Fish?
The system uses sonar to locate and define
structure, bottom contour, composition, and
depth directly below the transducer. It
transmits a sound pulse from the sonar
sensor, and then measures the time it takes
for the echoes to return to the sonar sensor.
Different objects in water echo the pulse at a
different intensity. The built-in computer then
organizes all of this information and shows it
on a display screen.
SONAR SENSOR FLOAT
The Sonar Sensor float must be adjusted. Pull out the
rubber stopper. Adjust float so that it is 7 to 10 inches
from the sensor, or at your desired depth(a minimum of 7
inches). Replace the rubber stopper by pressing it firmly
