Option 1. Administering Liquids
Note: If suction is connected to the bronchoscope, do not apply suction while you are introducing the
liquid. This causes the suction to withdraw the liquid from the bronchoscope. Conversely, to ensure full
suction strength, retract the syringe or introducer while applying suction.
