CALIBRATING THE SYSTEM
If your facility requires it, you can calibrate your BladderScan system periodically as described in the following
procedure. The BladderScan i10 system does not require routine or periodic calibration under normal use.
For all other information about how to use and maintain your BladderScan system, see its Operations and
Maintenance Manual, which is available at verathon.com/product-documentation.
Procedure 1. PerForM THe INITIAL INSPecTIoN
To calibrate the BladderScan i10 system, you must have a calibration tank designed for it. When you receive
the calibration tank, be sure to inspect it before you use it.
1. Carefully open the top of the shipping box. Do not insert anything sharp through the box.
2. Remove the contents and verify that you have received the components in the following figure.

Lid
Target
Base
3. Inspect all components for damage.
4. If any of the components are missing or damaged, notify the carrier and Verathon CustomerCare or your
local representative.
