Service will only be available during a power outage if the home telephone connected to
the device does not rely on external power to operate (as is the case with many corded
phones).
How long is the battery life of Home Phone Connect?
Talk time is about 2 hours and standby time is about 36 hours, but the actual values vary
with the network environment.
How does Caller ID (CID) work?
Caller ID works the same way it does on your Verizon Wireless Mobile Phone. CID allows
you to see the caller's phone number before you take the call. CID may display the number
of the person calling you (for all unblocked numbers). It may also display the name of the
person if you've stored it in your phone's memory.
My Caller ID does not display the name of the incoming
caller.
The Home Phone Connect service is not currently compatible with calling name delivery.
Caller name information will be displayed if the incoming caller's contact information is
saved in your home phone address book.
The volume is too loud.
You can adjust the volume using your telephone connected to the Home Phone Connect
device. Four volume levels are available, with level 1 being the softest and level 4 the
loudest. The default setting is level 4.
