TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
• If you have made any changes in your network settings and
turning your network device’s Wi-Fi o and on does not help, try
to restart your network device.
• You may need to turn the Wi-Fi settings from on to o, and back
to on again and apply the changes.
• If you are still unable to access your
Fios Business Wi-Fi Extender, you may need to try connecting
to the Wi-Fi Extender using another network device. If the issue
goes away with another network device, the issue is likely with
that individual network device’s configuration.
5.0c/ ACCESSING YOUR FIOS BUSINESS WIFI EXTENDER IF
YOU ARE LOCKED OUT
• If your Fios Business Wi-Fi Extender connection is lost while
making configuration changes, a setting that locks access to
your Fios Business Wi-Fi Extender’s GUI may have inadvertently
been activated.
The common ways to lock access to your Fios Business Wi-Fi
Extender are:
• Scheduler - If a schedule has been created that applies to the
computer over the connection being used, your Fios Business
Wi-Fi Extender will not be accessible during the times set in the
schedule.
