What to do if the Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 DC voltage is low?
    • J
      John GuerreroAug 19, 2025
If the DC voltage is low, first check if it's due to a mains failure; if so, disconnect some loads to extend system operation. Next, verify the DC under-voltage value set in the controller and correct it if needed. Also, check for inoperative rectifiers or ones with no output current, and replace them if found. Finally, ensure the total rectifier current exceeds the total load current during float charge; if not, reduce loads or add rectifiers so the rectifier current is at least 120% of the load current with one redundant rectifier.

How to fix AC voltage high on Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2?
    • K
      Katie WilsonAug 21, 2025
If the AC voltage is too high, check if the AC over-voltage value is set too low and adjust it accordingly. Note that a slight over-voltage might not impact the system. However, the rectifiers will cease operation if the mains voltage exceeds 305V. If the mains voltage consistently surpasses the AC over-voltage value, improvements to the mains grid are necessary.

Why is the AC voltage low on my Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2?
    • M
      Maria ChavezAug 25, 2025
If the AC voltage is low, check if the AC under-voltage point is set too high and adjust it if necessary. Be aware that when the mains voltage drops below 176V, the rectifier output power will be derated, and below 80V, the rectifiers will stop working. If the mains voltage is consistently below the AC under-voltage value, the mains grid needs improvement.

How to troubleshoot high DC voltage on Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 Power Supply?
    • D
      Dr. John GarzaAug 26, 2025
If the DC voltage is high, check the DC over-voltage value via the controller and correct it if it's set inappropriately. If the setting is correct, identify the faulty rectifier by: 1. Ensuring the batteries operate normally. 2. Switching off AC input to all rectifiers. 3. Powering on rectifiers one at a time. If over-voltage protection triggers when a specific rectifier is powered on, replace that faulty rectifier.

How to fix a rectifier failure on Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 Power Supply?
    • D
      Daniel GarnerAug 28, 2025
If a rectifier has a red fault indicator, it is faulty. Power off the rectifier, wait a moment, and then power it back on. If the alarm continues, replace the rectifier.

What to do if the Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 rectifier fan fails?
    • S
      samuel67Aug 30, 2025
If a rectifier fan fails, first check if the fan is obstructed. If it is, clean the obstruction and push the rectifier back into place. If the fan is not obstructed, or the problem continues after cleaning, replace the rectifier.

What to do when Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 reports a mains failure?
    • Q
      qsanchezSep 2, 2025
If the cause of the mains failure is unknown or the failure lasts too long, a diesel generator is needed. Before using the generator power to supply the subrack power system, it is suggested to run the generator at least five minutes to minimize the impact on the subrack power system.

What causes a Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 rectifier to not respond?
    • S
      Samantha BrownSep 4, 2025
If a rectifier is not responding, check if the communication cable is properly connected between the rectifier and the controller. If it is, restart the rectifier. If the alarm continues, replace the rectifier.

    Alan NixonSep 6, 2025
Why is my Vertiv Tech NetSure 731 A41-S2 rectifier in protect mode?
    • R
      Randall SmithSep 6, 2025
If the rectifier is in protect mode, check if the mains voltage is above 305V or below 80V. If the mains voltage is under the AC under-voltage value or above the AC over-voltage value, the mains grid should be improved.

    Shane WhiteSep 8, 2025
What should I do if my Vertiv Tech Power Supply reports a high temperature?
    • W
      wmortonSep 8, 2025
If a high temperature is reported, check if the temperature of the temperature sensor is too high. If it is, find the causes and cool down the battery compartment.
