Function Description

The VEVOR Wire Stripping Machine is designed to strip the insulation from various types of wires. Its primary function is to efficiently remove the outer skin of wires without damaging the inner copper core, facilitating the recycling or reuse of copper. The machine features multiple feeding holes to accommodate different wire diameters, ensuring versatility in its application. It is important to note that this machine is not suitable for silicone rubber cables or armored cables.

Usage Features

The machine is designed for straightforward operation, with several features to ensure effective wire stripping:

  • Wire Diameter Selection: Users must select the appropriate feeding hole based on the wire's diameter. The available feeding holes are marked for various ranges: 8×16, Ø1~Ø3, Ø3~Ø5, Ø6~Ø9, Ø10~Ø12, Ø12~Ø15, and Ø16~Ø25 mm.
  • Blade Alignment: For optimal stripping, the center of the blade must be collinear with the center of the roller. This alignment is crucial for clean cuts and to prevent damage to the wire.
  • Blade Depth Adjustment: The distance between the blade and the rolling shaft can be adjusted according to the wire's thickness. This adjustment is made using the M12 plastic handle screw, which controls the blade's height via a spring assembly. The goal is to cut only the wire skin without harming the copper core.
  • Troubleshooting for Stripping Issues:
    • If the machine fails to strip the wire, or if the stripped wire's diameter is too small, it may indicate that the blade's center is not aligned with the rolling shaft's center. To address this, users need to remove the shields on both sides of the machine and use a wrench to adjust the screw on the center adjustment block, ensuring the blade is on the same line as the rolling shaft.
    • Another reason for poor stripping performance could be a dull blade. In such cases, the blade needs to be replaced following the operating instructions.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance is essential for the longevity and safe operation of the wire stripping machine. The manual outlines several key safety and maintenance guidelines:

  • General Safety:
    • Always read and follow all instructions before using the machine.
    • To prevent electrical shock, do not immerse the machine in water or other liquids.

    • Do not operate the machine with a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions, is dropped, or damaged. Return it to an authorized service facility for repair.
    • Do not use attachments not sold by the manufacturer, as this may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
    • Do not use outdoors.
    • Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter.
