The ramp is available in two types, Type A and Type B, with various models offering different lengths and corresponding appropriate heights from steps to the ground.
Function Description
The VEVOR Folding Threshold Ramp serves as a portable and sturdy solution for overcoming obstacles like steps and thresholds, facilitating the movement of wheelchairs, strollers, and other large objects. Its folding design allows for easy storage and transport. The ramp is designed for secure and stable placement, ensuring safety during use.
Important Technical Specifications
The ramp models vary in length, appropriate height from steps to the ground, and material. All models have a maximum weight capacity of 800 lbs (approximately 362 kg) and are constructed from aluminum alloy.
Type A Models:

The minimum weight capacity of the starting point must be equal to or greater than that of the ramp (800 lbs). The maximum weight capacity of the product must not be exceeded.
Usage Features
The ramp is designed for straightforward assembly and use, but adherence to safety instructions is crucial.
Before Use:
- Unpack: Remove the product from its packaging.
- Latch Removal: For Type A, remove the latch from the latch hole and unlock the product. For Type B, follow steps 2-7 to unfold the product.
- Unfold: Unfold the product.
- Connecting Board: Place the product firmly on the steps, ensuring it is stable.
- Inspection: Before each use, check the ramp for wear, loose or damaged parts. If any of these conditions are present, do not use the ramp.
- Placement: Ensure sufficient maneuvering room is available at both ends of the ramp to ensure safe travel when entering and exiting.
- Unpack and Pull Out: Unpack the product from the packaging and pull out the locking pin to unfold the product. Ensure that the landings the ramp will be placed on are substantial and of sound construction.
- Firm Placement: Put the product firmly on the step.
- Ramp Length Selection: Choose a ramp of appropriate length based on the recommended height. The load-bearing capacity of the ramp should not exceed 800 lbs.
Important Safety Instructions:
- Read Manual: Carefully read and understand all instructions and procedures before installing and using the threshold ramp. Pay attention to assembly, use, warnings, and labels.
- Risk of Injury: User must read instructions manual carefully. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
- Wear Gloves: Be sure to wear gloves when using this product.
- Avoid Serious Injury or Death: Do not exceed the weight capacity or load height of the ramp. Use ramps on a stable and level surface only. It is strictly prohibited for users to drive the wheelchair alone on the ramp. Only use the ramp with a qualified helper and always use a lap belt.
- Heavy Objects: When carrying heavy objects through a ramp, be sure to have enough auxiliary personnel to assist in ensuring that people or goods do not tip over and cause damage to people or goods when using the ramp.
- Mobility Equipment Owner's Guide: Refer to your mobility equipment's owner guide for acceptable ramp usage, including proper slope/incline, chair direction; never exceed its recommendations.
- Damage/Unstable: Do not use the ramp if it is damaged or unstable.
- Tampering: Do not tamper with, attempt to repair, or modify any portion of the ramp.
- Pinch Points: Use caution when folding and unfolding the ramp to avoid all potential pinch points.
- Secure Landings: Use it only if the secure, unobstructed, level landings can support, at minimum, the same weight capacity as the ramp (800lbs).
- Slippery Surface: The ramp surface may be slippery in wet conditions; use caution if the surface is wet as traction may be reduced.
- Debris: Do not use the ramp if its surface is covered with ice, snow, dirt, leaves, or other debris. Remove all accumulations and sweep the surface clean before use.
- Improper Use: Improper use of the ramp could result in serious injury.
- Exercise Caution: Always exercise caution when handling, installing, and or using the ramp.
- Casual Placement: Casual placement may result in accidental injury due to children's climbing or playing; or the product may fall off and cause major accidents. During walking, the product may shift or dislocate due to the reaction of your walking. Please be careful.
- Disassembly/Reinstallation: Please do not disassemble and reinstall this product. Otherwise, it may cause serious accidents.
- Unfolding: When the latch is not removed from the latch hole, do not forcefully unfold the product.
- Reversing Order: Fold the products by reversing the order in which they were expanded.
- Wheelchair Use: When using a wheelchair on this product, be sure to move it slowly from a low position to a higher one. And when you move it from a high place to a lower place, it may cause a fall for the wheelchair user In addition, a sudden push or sudden braking of a wheelchair may result in an accident. Please be slow when pushing the wheelchair.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of the VEVOR Folding Threshold Ramp.
- Placement: Place the product on a sturdy, secure, accessible, and level starting point. The minimum weight capacity of the starting point must be equal to that of the ramp (800 lbs). Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the product.
- Secure Flush: Ensure that the product is securely flush against the starting point. If a safe, accessible, and level starting point cannot be found, or if the product does not fit securely against a higher starting point, do not use the ramp.
- Tampering: Do not tamper with, attempt to repair, or modify any part of the product.
- Pinch Points: Exercise caution to avoid pinch points during assembly and handling.
- User Guide: If using the product with other mobility equipment, refer to the user guide of the equipment to understand the acceptable usage guidelines, including appropriate slope, incline, and chair direction. Do not exceed the recommendations of the mobility equipment.
- Secure Flush: When using the ramp, ensure it is securely flush against the starting point to ensure safety.
- Cleaning: Before each use, clean the ramp surface of ice, snow, dust, leaves, and other debris. Remove accumulated ice and snow, and sweep the surface clean. For dust and debris, use a soft bristle brush and non-alkaline detergent to clean the ramp surface, then rinse thoroughly.
- Slippery Conditions: The ramp surface may become slippery in wet conditions. Walk with caution and pay attention to your footing to prevent slipping.
- Storage: If the ramp will not be used for an extended period, store it in a dry and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Cleaning Agents: Do not use thinner, gasoline or other volatile organic solvents to clean the product.
- Scrubbing: Do not scrub this product with a hard brush or hard sponge.
