Commissioning preparations
Leak test
1. Close the gas shut-off valve.
2. Loosen the screw in test nipple A
but do not remove.
3. Connect the pressure test
equipment to test nipple A.
4. By gently activating the manual
pump, create a test pressure of
approx. 100 mbar.
5. Wait approx. 5 minutes for the
temperature to level out, then
observe the pressure gauge display:
The test area is free from leaks, if
the display pressure does not fall
by more than 1 mbar within a
further five minutes.
¨ĂSafety instruction
Check the test nipple for gas leaks.
6. Purge the gas supply pipe.
Please note:
Vent the gas supply pipe and the
gas float before initial start-up.
To do this, route the vent pipe
outdoors. Check with a test
burner, whether the gas:air
mixture is combustible.
7. Leave the leak test equipment
connected.
