Installation, commissioning, inspection,
maintenance and repairs must only be
carried out by a competent person.
When working on the appliance/
system, isolate it from the power sup-
ply, e.g. at the separate fuse or a main
switch. Check the system is no longer
live and safeguard against reconnec-
tion.
Wear suitable personal protective
equipment when carrying out any work.
Danger
Standby power mode: In the
event of a power failure, the sys-
tem feeds energy from the
power storage system into the
grid. Island network mode: The
electrical loads are supplied by
their own power generators and
the battery storage system. In
both operating modes, injuries
due to electric shock and short-
circuit currents can occur if the
system is not switched off cor-
rectly.
Switch off Vitocharge and all
power generators in the system
to de-energise it.
Repairing components that fulfil a
safety function can compromise the
safe operation of the system.
