How to improve drying in Viking Range Dishwasher?

  If your dishes are not drying in your Viking Range Dishwasher, here's what you can check: * Place your dishes in a way that no water will accumulate in them. * Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Increase the rinse aid setting if there is enough amount of rinse aid in the machine. * Do not unload your machine right after washing process is completed. Slightly open the door and wait for steam to escape inside of unit. Unload the dishes after the pieces cool down to a touchable level. Start unloading process from the lower basket to prevent dropping of water from items in upper basket onto the items in lower basket. * Select program with longer duration for a better drying performance. * It is not recommended to wash such kitchen utensils in dishwasher.

  If stains remain on dishes after a cycle in your Viking Range Dishwasher, it could be due to: * Selecting an unsuitable program. Try a program with a higher temperature and longer cycle time. * The surface quality of the kitchen utensils is deteriorated. It is not recommended to wash such kitchen utensils in dishwasher. * Detergent stored under unsuitable conditions. If using powder detergent, avoid storing it in humid places; keep it in a closed container. Tablet detergents are recommended for ease of storage.

Clean the filter system regularly as illustrated in section “Cleaning and Care.” * If you are not going to start the machine right after you have put the dishes into it, remove the remnants on the dishes and run the Rinse & Hold program without detergent every 2 days.

  If detergent is left in the dispenser of your Viking Range Dishwasher, check these points: * Ensure the detergent dispenser is dry before adding detergent. * Add detergent shortly before starting the wash cycle. * Make sure dishes aren't blocking the dispenser lid from opening. * If using powder detergent, do not store the detergent package in humid places. Keep it in a closed container if possible. For ease of storing, we recommend you to use tablet detergents. * Clean the Wash Arm regularly as illustrated in section 'Cleaning and Care.'

  If you observe rust, discoloration, or surface deterioration on your dishes after using your Viking Range Dishwasher, consider the following: * Run the Rinse & Hold program to remove the salt that spilled inside the machine. * If silverware soiled with such foods will be kept waiting in machine, food particles must be removed by prewash or dishes must be washed without being kept waiting. * Check if your machine is connected to the actual grounding line. * Do not wash your dishes with bleach. * Do not use metal kitchen utensils out of their intended uses. * They should not be washed in dishwashers. * Such items should not be washed in dishwashers.

  If your Viking Range Freezer's ice maker isn't working, first, ensure the freezer is cold enough to make ice; it may take overnight to reach the correct temperature. Also, check that the signal arm is in the on (down) position, the water valve is turned on, and water is getting to the water valve. Examine the water line for any leaks.
