Lift Control Lid, detach Jar Collar by turning counterclockwise, and remove the Cleaning Cup from the Carafe.
Turn the Jar Collar clockwise until it is securely attached to the Carafe.
Wash parts (except lid) with soap. Fill Carafe with room temperature water, but not past the Fill Line.
Attach Filter Basket caps, add approx. 7 scoops of coarse coffee, and ensure a 1/2" gap at the rim.
Attach Filter Basket to Control Lid, ensuring it's secure. Place the assembly on the Carafe, submerged in water.
Plug in, select strength, press Brew button (red light). It turns blue with beeps upon completion.
Pump excess water from filter, then place Lid/Basket into Cleaning Cup for serving or storage.
Remove Filter Basket assembly from lid. Dispose of spent coffee grounds from the basket.
Remove bottom cap and rinse all filter basket parts until clean and ready for next use.
Never submerge Control Lid. Fill Cleaning Cup 2/3 full with clean water.
Inspect and rinse the bottom of the Water Pickup Tube for any brewing material debris.
Place Control Lid on cup, rotate knob to CLEAN, press Brew button to start flushing.
Raise Lid, press Brew to run air and evacuate water. Empty and rinse Cleaning Cup.
