TROUBLESHOOTING
RECOV ERY P ROBLEMS
Problem: HIGH-PRESSURE LED
Solution:
Be sure tank valves are open and hoses are properly connected to the tank. Check for the
presence ofairin the storage tank (see air purge),ifnecess arypurge as required.
After a HIGH PRESSURE shutdown itwill be necess aryto remove the back plastic cover and
manually reset the high press ure switch bypress i ng on the small red button on the top of the
pressureswitchlocatedonthetopofthemanifold.
Problem: “SERVICE” message
Solution:
Remove and replace the low side filter/dryer. See REPLACING THE FILTER/DRYER
Problem: When in RECOVERY display shows error n°1 (ER 01)
Solution:
The A/C system is empty,run EVACUATE
Problem: When in EVACUATE the displays hows error n°2 (ER 02)
Solution:
The A/C system isn’t empty, run RECOVER Y
NO DIS PLAY WHEN MAIN POWER SWITCH IS ON
Problem: Blown main fuse
Solution:
Replace fuse 15A, located in the input power connector. A spare fuse is included in the
machine.
RE F ILLING DOES NOT FLO W
Problem: Refrigerantsupplyem ptyor low
Solution:
Add refrigerantto the tank, check the scale calibration.
Problem: Press ure ofthe A/C system equals the pressure ofthe bottle
Solution:
Close the high side tap, turn on the A/C system, let the compressor of the A/C s ystem
recover the remaining refrigerant.
Problem: Tank valves closed.
Solution:
Open liquid (RED) valve and be sure hose is properly connected to the tank and the unit.
