Depending on which system you have installed you must attach one of the following Class A or
Class B tags to the UV system.
Class A System:
This system conforms to NSF/ANSI 55 for the disin-
fection of microbiologically contaminated water
that meets all other public health standards. The
system is not intended for the treatment of water
that has an obvious contamination or intentional
source such as raw sewage, nor is the system
intended to convert wastewater to microbiologi-
cally safe drinking water.
If this system is used for the treatment of un-
treated surface waters or ground water under
the direct inuence of surface water a device
found to be in conformance for cyst reduction
under the appropriate NSF/ANSI standard shall
be installed upstream of the system.
Warning: If there is any type of system failure
with a Class A system water must be boiled
before use or consumption. System must be
cleaned before use after a system failure. See
In-House Water Distribution System Disinfection
section of manual.
Always install and operate the unit in an
environment where both air and water
temperature will normally range between 36°F
(2°C) and 104°F (40°C).
See instruction manual for use conditions.
Lamp should be replaced every year (9000 Hrs.)
Ballast has built in 365 day countdown timer.
Class B System:
This system conforms to NSF/ANSI 55 for the
supplemental bactericidal treatment of
disinfected public drinking water or other
drinking water that has been tested and
deemed acceptable for human consumption
by the state or local health agency having
jurisdiction. The system is only designed to
reduce normally occurring non-pathogenic
nuisance microorganisms. Class B systems are
not intended for the disinfection of
contaminated water.
Always install and operate the unit in an
environment where both air and water
temperature will normally range between 36°F
(2°C) and 104°F (40°C).
