VERTICAL STEAMING
• Make sure that the water tank (2) is filled with water.
• Tap the control button (7) until the ( ) maxi-
mum temperature indicator (15) appears on the
indication panel (6).
• Wait for the iron to heat up - the indicator (15) will
stop flashing and remain steadily lit.
• Put your garments on a hanger and gently
straighten the fabric with one hand; remove any
folds on handing curtains and furniture fabrics.
Since the generated steam is very hot, never
iron or steam clothing while wearing it; always
put the garments on a hanger.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation behind the fabric to
prevent moisture buildup that can lead to mold
formation.
• Make sure that there is nothing behind the fabric
that can be damaged by steam.
• Make sure that pockets, cuffs, and collars are
empty.
• Keep the iron close to the fabric (but do not
touch it). Keep it away from delicate fabrics.
We recommend using the steam release but-
ton (8) to target small areas, as it provides bet-
ter control.
• Switch the steam station off after use. Tap the
control button (7) until the « » power indicator
(12) appears on the indication panel (6), in order
to switch of the steam station.
• Install the iron on the corresponding base (1)
tray and fix it by pressing on the lock (4).
• Remove the power plug from the mains socket.
• Remove the water tank (2) and drain any remain-
ing water from it.
• Allow the iron to fully cool down before clean-
ing, moving, or taking the steam station away
for storage.
REFILLING WATER
Once no water is left in the water tank (2), you will
hear short sound signals and the « » low water
level indicator (13) will start flashing. The heating
and steam release functions will be automatically
disabled to protect your steam station. Follow these
steps to re-enable the steam release function:
1.
Refill the water tank, see the FILLING THE WA-
TER TANK section.
2.
Give the steam release button (8) a quick press
to activate the heating function - the tempera-
ture indicator (15) will turn on; then press the
steam release button once again to re-enable
the steam release function. After that you can
use your steam station properly.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
For enhanced safety, the steam station is equipped
with an automatic feature that shuts off the iron
soleplate heating. The built-in safety feature auto-
matically shuts off the heating element if the iron
has not been used for 30 seconds in the horizon-
tal position or for 3 minutes in the vertical position
(when the iron is placed on the steam station base).
You will hear 6 short sound signals and the « »
power indicator (12) will start flashing on the indi-
cation panel (6). To restore heating, simply shake
the iron or start ironing with it. The steam station will
automatically resume operation.
Notes: If you restored heating withing 15 seconds
of an automatic shut-off, you can continue using it
immediately. Once the 15 seconds have passed,
the soleplate of the iron will have cooled down
slightly and the temperature indicator (15) will start
flashing. Place the iron on the steam station base,
and the previously set soleplate temperature will
be restored after a time. You can only use the iron
once the heating indicator (15) stops flashing and
remains steadily lit.
SELF-CLEANING
To extend the longevity of the unit, your steam sta-
tion has been equipped with a self-cleaning feature.
Follow these steps to initiate the self-cleaning se-
quence:
1.
Remove the water tank to refill it with water, and
the reinstall it on the base.
2.
Switch on your steam station and set it to maxi-
mum heating.
– Tap the control button (7) until the ( ) maxi-
mum temperature indicator (15) appears on the
indication panel (6).
– Wait for the iron to heat up - the indicator (15) will
stop flashing and will remain steadily lit.
3.
Keep the iron horizontally over a suitable con-
tainer or the sink, then press the control button
(7) and the steam release button (8) at the same
time and hold them down for approximately
2 seconds.
4.
The « » self-cleaning indicator (14) will ap-
pear on the indication panel (6), after which the
unit will complete the sequence automatically.
5.
Tap the control button (7) several more times to
select the desired temperature mode if you wish
to continue ironing.
The self-cleaning mode removes scales and
dirt buildup. Use the self-cleaning mode once
or twice a week. Use it more often if water in
your local area is too hard.
