be highlighted and the display (6) will show the current tem-
perature of water inside the kettle.
Temperature maintenance/memory function
– This kettle has a feature that enables you to maintain the
temperature for all heating modes and a memory function
for the number of times the kettle is lifted from the base.
– To enable the temperature maintenance mode, press the
Warm button when the water is being boiled or heated - the
highlight of the Warm button will start flashing. Once the
water has boiled or heated up to the set temperature, you
will hear a short sound signal, the display (6) will show the
set water temperature, and the highlight of the Warm but-
ton will stop flashing and remain on; the heating process will
stop and the kettle will go into temperature maintenance
mode. If the water temperature in the kettle drops below the
set temperature by more than 5 °C, the kettle will switch to
heating mode. When the heating is switched on, the high-
light of the Warm button will be flashing.
While in temperature maintenance mode, the display (6) will
always show the current temperature of water inside the kettle
and the corresponding control buttons will be highlighted.
– Press the Warm button to turn the temperature mainte-
nance mode off.
Note: Temperature maintenance will be active for 2 hours,
after which the kettle will switch to standby mode.
– The memory function for the number of times the kettle is
lifted from the base is automatically activated in tempera-
ture maintenance mode, and the selected water heating
mode is stored as well.
Note: The memory function will only be saved if the kettle
has been lifted from the base no more than 10 times and the
water temperature has not dropped more than 8 °C from the
set value.
Overheat protection
If you accidentally switch the kettle on with no water or with
the water level below the minimum mark, the automatic
thermal switch will activate and the kettle will be switched off
automatically. In this event take the kettle from the base (8), let
it cool down for 10-15 minutes, then fill it with water and switch
it on - the kettle will operate normally.
CLEANING AND CARE
– Before cleaning disconnect the unit from the mains, pour
out water and let the kettle cool down.
– Wipe the outer surface of the kettle with a damp cloth or
a sponge. Use soft detergents to remove dirt; do not use
metal brushes and abrasive detergents.
– Do not immerse the kettle and stand in water or any other
liquids, and do not wash the kettle and stand under run-
ning water.
– Do not wash the kettle and the base in a dishwashing
machine.
Descaling
– Scale, appearing inside the kettle, influences the water
taste and disturbs the heat exchange between water and
the heating element.
– To remove scale, fill the kettle with water by about 75% and
then boil the water up. Fill the remaining quarter of the flask
with vinegar solution (6-9%) and leave the liquid in the kettle
overnight (for approximately 8 hours). In the morning pour
the vinegar mixture out of the kettle and rinse the flask sev-
eral times. To remove the remaining vinegar and its smell,
boil the kettle filled with ordinary water once or twice.
– If necessary, repeat the cleaning cycle.
– You can use special detergents for electric kettles to remove
scale.
– Clean the kettle from scale regularly.
Attention! The warranty does not cover breakdown or malfunc-
tioning of the unit caused by uncleaned scale.
STORAGE
– Before taking the unit away for long storage, unplug it, pour
out water and let the unit cool down.
– Clean the kettle.
– Fix the power cord in the cord storage (9) on the base (8).
– Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled persons.
