b. Move the Internet cable from GE1 into GE2,
and verify that the status indicator for GE2 in the local UI
becomes green. Leave the Internet cable in GE2 at the end
of this test.
c. Test the two SFP ports (SFP1 and SFP2) by
using a fiber cable with two fiber SFP modules, or a ‘direct
attach’ SFP cable to loop them together. Check that the Link
lights turn on, and the local UI displays them as red. (See
image below).
6. Test the four USB ports one by one, by inserting a blank
USB flash key into them, and make sure the
corresponding status indicator on the local UI for that
USB port turns red. (If it remains grey, the USB port is
broken.)
