      If your Vornado Humidifier isn't producing enough humidity, ensure the water tank is filled with clean, cool tap water. If the set humidity level is reached, the fan will turn off until the room's humidity drops below the set point. Also, check for any airflow blockages and remove them. Finally, make sure the unit settings aren't too low; set the fan speed to High or increase the humidistat for maximum humidity output.

      If the filters in your Vornado Humidifier need frequent replacement, try using untreated tap water or distilled water, as the sodium in chemically softened water may cause them to harden or become mushy. Consider adding a Bacteriostat or Water Treatment to the water, which can be found at most hardware or home specialty stores. You can also periodically remove the filters and clean them by soaking in cool tap water with two teaspoons of white vinegar for 20 minutes, then rinse and dry before replacing.
