(3)
E = controlable electronically (electronic voltage regulation by a TRIAC/SRC), T = controllable by transformer (electronic
voltage regulation by a transformer), F = frequence controllable (controllable by a frequence controller). A frequence
controller in combination with a single phase motor is possible.
(4)
E = EMI, Q = Q-line Multifan, MF = Mf-Flex
(5)
e.g.: (230/400V = U1/U2) D = Triangle connection for U1, Y = Star connection for U2
(6)
Thermal protection (NC) (for single phase: 250V 2.5A cosφ =1 / for 3-phase: 250V 10A cosφ =1)

05. Assembly/mounting/installation
• Mounting, electric connection and start-up may be executed by qualified personnel only
(according to EN 50110-1 and EN 1010-1).
• It is the installer's responsibility that the installation and safety instructions are in accordance
with current standards and regulations (according to EN-ISO 13857 and EN ISO 12100-1).
• Every fan has to be grounded according to the current standard EN 50178.
• Do not use the fan as part of a construction.
• In case a moving part of the fan (the impeller) is below 2.7m (measured from the floor to the
lowest point of the fan), a protective wire guard (according to EN-ISO 13857) is mandatory. See
also FIG. VI.
• Remove the red condense plug, mounted at the lowest point of the motor. Keep the condense
plug in a safe place, for it is necessary to use it during cleaning and maintenance work. See also
FIG. VI.
• Vostermans Ventilation B.V. has an (optional) fastening set (article number ‘BGMFFLEXST’) in
her delivery program. Inquire about the possibilities.
CAUTION: In case of speed regulation, the fan may vibrate when
incorrectly mounted/installed. Check this before completing the
installation.
CAUTION: The fan must ALWAYS be built-in or mounted in a stable
way before being taken into operation!
