Overview

The VSYSTO D6WL is a motorcycle dash cam designed to record videos while the motorcycle is operating, primarily for reference in investigating incidents or road accidents. It is important to note that the product is not guaranteed to record all events, especially those with minor impacts or massive impacts that cause battery voltage deviation. Video recording only begins after the product is fully booted up.

Function Description:

The D6WL dash cam automatically powers on and off with the motorcycle's ignition. It supports normal video recording when a TF card is inserted and automatically stops when powered off. It also features an emergency video mode, which can be activated either by a G-sensor detecting a collision or manually by pressing a button on the wired remote. Emergency video files are saved with specific naming conventions (e.g., "GSR" for G-sensor triggered, "KEY" for manual trigger) and are protected from being overwritten, with a maximum of 10 such files. The device records video files with information including the date, time, and camera (front or rear).

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Operating Temperature: -20°C to 65°C. Operating outside this range may cause malfunction or permanent physical damage, which is not covered by the warranty.
  • Memory Card: Requires a high-speed micro SD card with CLASS 10. Cards should be formatted before use and regularly (at least once a week) to ensure proper operation.
  • Power Input (for quick test): The USB power source should provide an input voltage not exceeding 5V and a current of 2A or above.
  • Power Connection: Connects to the motorcycle's battery (red wire to positive, black wire to negative) and a 12V port controlled by key ignition (ACC port) via a yellow wire.

Usage Features:

  • Power On/Off: Automatic with motorcycle ignition.
  • Video Recording Modes:
    • Normal Video Mode: Continuous recording when powered on and TF card is inserted.
    • Emergency Video Mode:
      • G-Sensor Event Recording: Automatically triggered by collisions.
      • Manual Event Recording: Activated by pressing the emergency button on the wired remote.
  • Video Playback:
    • Mobile Device (Wi-Fi): Connects via the "Wifi Camera" app (available on Google Play and App Store) to view and playback videos. The default Wi-Fi password is '1234567890'. The app allows manual start/stop recording, photo taking, camera switching (front/rear), and full-screen view. Recording pauses when the Wi-Fi app is open and resumes automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity or exiting the app.
    • Mobile Device (OTG): Micro SD card can be plugged into an OTG-compatible mobile device using an OTG card reader to access video files.
    • Computer: Micro SD card can be plugged into a computer via a USB card reader to access video files.
  • Wired Controller: Features an LED light that indicates camera status (slow blinking for recording, fast blinking for emergency recording, steady light for stopped recording, off for power off). A button on the controller can be short-pressed to manually activate emergency recording and take a snapshot.

Maintenance Features:

  • Memory Card Formatting: Recommended at least once a week to ensure proper functionality and data integrity.
  • Cleaning: Clean the product with a clean, soft, dry fabric. Avoid using chemicals or detergents.
  • Installation Guidelines:
    • Avoid flushing the main unit, lenses, power module, and wired controller with high-pressure water.
    • Do not bend cables or twist connectors during installation.
    • Position the main unit and lens cables away from high-voltage circuits (e.g., xenon lamp, ignition plug).
    • For motorcycles with traditional carburetor systems, consider changing to a suitable R-value ignition plug if interference is experienced.
  • Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection: If connection fails, check for pop-up notifications regarding internet access and ensure "Cellular Data" is turned off when using the Wi-Fi app.

Safety Information:

  • Do not operate the product while driving to avoid distraction.
  • Do not install in places exposed to flammable gas.
