This document describes the VSYSTO S2F Motorcycle Dash Cam, a device designed to record video while a motorcycle is in operation, primarily for reference in investigating incidents or road accidents. It emphasizes safe driving and smart driving practices.
The VSYSTO S2F Motorcycle Dash Cam is a dual-camera recording system for motorcycles, capturing both front and rear views. It automatically records video when the motorcycle is in operation and offers various recording modes to ensure critical events are captured. The device is designed to provide visual evidence in case of accidents or incidents, though it's important to note that it doesn't guarantee recording of all events, especially those with very minor or massive impacts that might affect battery voltage.
The core function involves continuous video recording when the power is on and a TF card is inserted. This "Normal Video Mode" ensures that both front and rear cameras are actively recording. In addition to continuous recording, the dash cam features an "Emergency Video Mode" which is activated automatically by a G-Sensor upon detecting a collision. These emergency files are specifically named with "GSR" to distinguish them. Users can also manually trigger emergency recording by pressing a dedicated button on the wired remote control, with these files named "KEY". During manual emergency recording, snapshots are also captured from both cameras.
The device includes a GPS module, which, when properly installed with the "GPS" icon facing the sky, provides location information such as altitude, longitude, and latitude, as well as speed data. This information can be watermarked onto playback videos when viewed on a PC or app, adding valuable context to the recorded footage.
The VSYSTO S2F is designed for ease of use, with automatic power on/off functionality linked to the motorcycle's ignition switch. This means the dash cam starts recording when the motorcycle is turned on and stops when it's turned off, provided it's installed correctly. Users are advised to wait for the product to fully boot up before operating the motorcycle to ensure all events are recorded.
Video playback is flexible, offering multiple options:
The wired remote control is a central interface for interacting with the dash cam while riding. It features buttons for various functions:
The remote control also features an LED light that indicates the camera's status: slow blinking for proper recording, fast blinking for emergency recording, steady light for stopped recording, and off for power off.
The device offers a "Smart Gauge Mode" which can be accessed by long-pressing the DOWN button in video mode. This mode displays real-time information including current voltage, battery voltage after flameout (1 hour and 1 minute), single driving time, average speed of single driving, altitude, longitude, latitude, and atmospheric pressure. Short presses cycle through these displays, and a long press exits the mode.
For parking, the dash cam offers two modes:
Proper maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of the VSYSTO S2F dash cam. The manual provides several guidelines:
