GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION – FREIGHT TRAIN
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
rear cabinet of the train. Use a
screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install three new AAA (AM-4/
LR03) batteries following the
diagram inside the battery box.
(The use of new alkaline batteries
is recommended for maximum
performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover by laying it flat against the battery slot
and tightening the screw to secure it.
BATTERY NOTICE
• UsenewalkalinebatteriesorfullychargedNI-MH(NickelMetal-
hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
• Useonlybatteriesofthesameorequivalenttypeasrecommended.
• Donotmixdifferenttypesofbatteries:alkaline,standard(carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
• Donotusedamagedbatteries.
• Insertbatterieswiththecorrectpolarity.
• Donotshort-circuitthebatteryterminals.
• Removeexhaustedbatteriesfromthetoy.
• Removebatteriesduringlongperiodsofnon-use.
• Donotdisposeofbatteriesinfire.
• Donotchargenon-rechargeablebatteries.
• Removerechargeable batteries from the toybeforecharging(if
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
