Operation
A shatter protection must be installed on a canopy version if an attachment (for
example a hammer) causes fragments to fly around. Pay attention to the restricted
work range (see Fig. 130)
☞ Follow the safety instructions for assembly
– see Parking the machine on page 3-28.
☞ Stop and park the machine.
☞ Lower the boom and the stabilizer blade to the ground.
☞ Stop the engine.
☞ Remove the starting key and carry it with you.
☞ Raise the control lever base.
☞ Install/remove shatter protection A from the front and fasten/remove it at the fastening
points B with the fastening material supplied.
Assembly
Tighten hexagon head screws C (M8/8.8) to 25 Nm (18 ft.lbs) at fastening points B.
