Using the cooler
39
The “POWER” LED lights up.
The display (fig. 3 5, page 3) switches on and shows the
current cooling temperature.
I
Note
The temperature displayed is that of the middle of the interior.
The temperatures elsewhere can deviate from this temperature.
The cooler starts cooling the interior.
The charging display is activated after approximately one minute
(fig. 4 3, page 4), and indicates with a running light that the
internal battery is being charged.
When the battery is fully charged, the running light switches off
and all four LEDs light up.
I
Note
You do not need to press the “ON/OFF” button to start the cooling
process if you only wish to charge the internal battery.
If the power supply is interrupted or the charging voltage falls
below 12.2 V during the charging process:
Turn the main switch to “ON”: Charging is stopped, the internal
battery now serves as the power supply for the compressor.
Turn the main switch to “OFF”: Charging is stopped,
the charging display shows the current charging status.
7.2 Cooling with the internal battery
If you want to operate the cooler with the internal battery, you must
charge it beforehand (see chapter “Cooling/charging with an
external power supply” on page 38).
Make sure that no external power supply is connected.
Set the battery switch (fig. 4 2, page 4) to “BATTERY ON”.
Battery mode is activated.
The charging display (fig. 4 3, page 4) shows the current
charge status of the internal battery.
Press the “ON/OFF” button (fig. 3 1, page 3) for one to
two seconds.
The “POWER” LED lights up.
