How to unclog WAGNER Paint Crew tip?
    • M
      Michael PowersJul 26, 2025
If your WAGNER Paint Sprayer tip is clogged, here's what to do: First, turn off the pump, release the trigger, and lock the gun. Rotate the reversible tip arrow 180° to the CLEAN position (arrow pointing towards the rear of the gun). If the tip is hard to turn, switch the PRIME/SPRAY knob to PRIME and trigger the gun to relieve pressure. Then, switch back to SPRAY. Unlock the gun, aim at scrap material, and squeeze the trigger to blow out the obstruction. Once clean, paint will spray in a high-pressure stream. If it's still clogged, repeat these steps. Finally, return the tip to the SPRAY position (arrow pointing forward) and continue spraying.

What to do if WAGNER Paint Crew Paint Sprayer gun filter is clogged?

      Michael RobertsAug 10, 2025
If your WAGNER Paint Sprayer's gun filter is clogged, unclip the trigger guard from the filter housing. Unscrew the housing and remove the filter. Clean the filter with the appropriate cleaning solution: warm, soapy water for latex paints or mineral spirits for oil-based materials. Check for sediments in your spraying material and inspect the filter for holes, replacing it if necessary. Reinstall the cleaned filter into the gun housing, tapered end first.
