Setup
1. Open the battery door. Insert four new alkaline C-cell
batteries in the proper direction. Replace the door.
2. Attach outlet (a) and suction (b) hoses to the pump and
secure the clamps. Open the locking door on the drive
housing. Place the pump and suction hose assembly as
shown, making sure the oval slot
(c) in the rear of the
pump goes over the brass axle. Snap door shut.
WARNING - Improper installation of batteries may cause
batteries to overheat and leak acid. Acid may cause
severe injury and / or property damage.

and new batteries. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel
cadmium) batteries.
