Deck Serial Number Location
ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION
The Kawasaki engine model, type, and code num-
bers are located on the side of the engine opposite
the recoil starter handle (on the aluminum housing).
For the mower model covered by this manual, an en-
gine manual is available to cover the Kawasaki
FH430V.

SERVICING OF DRIVETRAIN GEARBOX
The detailed servicing and repair of the engine, hy-
drostatic transmission, and gearboxes are not cov-
ered in this manual. Only routine maintenance and
general service instructions are provided. For the
service of these components during the limited war-
ranty period, it is important to find a local, authorized
servicing agent of the component manufacturer.
Any unauthorized work done on these compo-
nents during the warranty period may void the war-
