Why does my Walker MC horn sound at the wrong time?
    • J
      James BennettAug 6, 2025
The horn may sound at the wrong time because the vertical position of the Grass-Pak[®] switch is critical to ensure the catcher box doesn't overfill, which could clog the delivery chute. To resolve this, adjust the Grass-Pak[®] switch by bending its mounting bracket until the measurement between the exhaust screen and the Grass-Pak[®] switch actuator vane is between 4 and 4-1/2 inches (10.16 and 11.43 cm). Make adjustments in small increments, checking the measurement each time until it's correct.

What to do if the GHS “full” signal horn is not sounding when the catcher is full on my Walker MC?
    • T
      Travis DavisAug 22, 2025
If the GHS "full" signal horn isn't sounding when the catcher is full, check the horn itself. Disconnect the two wires from the GrassPak[®] switch electric connector plug and create a jumper wire connection between them, bypassing the switch. Turn the ignition ON and engage the blade clutch (with the engine off) to make the horn sound. If it doesn't, the horn is faulty and needs replacement.
