Summary

General Operation Screens

Time of Day Display

Displays the current time on the unit. Unit defaults to this screen after a reset.

Flow Rate Display

Displays the current flow rate of water passing through the unit.

Capacity Remaining Display

Displays the unit's remaining capacity in gallons.

Days to a Regen Display

Displays the number of days remaining until the next scheduled regeneration.

Dealer Name and Phone Number

Displays a scrolling dealer name and phone number.

Unlock and Lock Controller

Unlock Controller

Indicates the valve controller is unlocked, granting access to advanced programming features.

Lock Controller

Indicates the valve controller is locked, preventing accidental access to advanced settings.

Set Time Screens

Set Time - Hour

Allows setting the hour for the unit's clock using + or - buttons.

Set Time - Minutes

Allows setting the minutes for the unit's clock using + or - buttons.

Set Current Day

Allows setting the current day of the week using + or - buttons.

Typical Regeneration Screens

Backwash Remaining Time

Displays the time remaining in the current regeneration cycle.

Generator On Status

Displays time remaining in current cycle, relevant if a chlorine generator is connected.

Water Hardness Setting

Sets the water hardness level in grains.

Days Between Regen Setting

Sets the number of days between automatic regenerations.

Regen Time Hour Setting

Sets the hour of the day for regeneration.

Regen Time Minutes Setting

Sets the minutes for the regeneration time.

Alarm Buzzer Setting

Turns the alarm buzzer ON or OFF for regeneration or error alerts.

Sets the system's grains of capacity for water softening.

Gallons Capacity Setting

Sets the gallon capacity calculation method (AUTO, OFF, or by specific gallons).

Double Regen Point Setting

Sets the percentage of capacity overrun that triggers a double regeneration.

Fill Cycle 1 Position

Sets the first cycle position related to the fill process.

Fill Salt Pounds per Regen

Sets the amount of salt (in pounds) delivered during the fill cycle.

Softening Cycle 2 Position

Sets the second cycle position used for delivering soft water.

Softening Time Setting

Sets the time window for salt to dissolve and achieve proper brine strength.

Backwash Cycle 3 Position

Sets the third cycle position, typically for backwashing the media.

Backwash Time Setting

Sets the duration for the backwash cycle.

Regenerant Draw DN Cycle 4 Position

Sets the fourth cycle position for regenerant draw.

Generate Chlorine Setting

Turns chlorine generator ON/OFF or adjusts chlorine production level.

Rinse Cycle 5 Position

Sets the fifth cycle position for rinsing.

Sets the duration for the final rapid rinse cycle.

End Cycle 6 Position

Sets the end cycle position to trigger the end of regeneration.

Configuration Screens

Valve Type Selection

Selects the valve type and meter size (e.g., 1", 1.0T).

Regen Time Control Setting

Sets regen time control to Delayed, Delayed+Immediate, or Immediate.

MAV Drive 1 Control Setting

Sets the first MAV drive control mode (e.g., System Controller, Separate Source).

Auxiliary Input Setting

Configures auxiliary input behavior (e.g., Immediate regen, Hold, Alarm).

Configuration Screens (Relay Settings)

Relay 1 Trigger - OFF

Sets Relay 1 trigger to OFF if no external devices are used.

Relay 1 Trigger - TIME

Sets Relay 1 to trigger for a specified period during regeneration.

Relay 1 Setpoint - TIME

Sets the delay time before Relay 1 initially energizes after regen starts.

Relay 1 Duration - TIME

Sets the duration Relay 1 remains energized after its setpoint.

Relay 1 Trigger - GALLONS

Sets Relay 1 to trigger after a specified number of gallons are expended.

Relay 1 Setpoint - GALLONS

Sets the number of gallons to be expended before Relay 1 energizes.

Relay 1 Duration - GALLONS

Sets the duration Relay 1 remains energized after the gallon setpoint.

Configuration Screens (More Relay Settings)

Relay 1 Trigger - REGEN GAL

Sets Relay 1 to trigger based on gallons expended during service and regen.

Relay 1 Setpoint - REGEN GAL

Sets the gallons to be expended before Relay 1 energizes during regen.

Relay 1 Duration - REGEN GAL

Sets the duration Relay 1 remains energized after the regen gallon setpoint.

Relay 1 Trigger - ERROR

Sets Relay 1 to trigger when the unit is in an error mode.

Relay 1 Trigger - FLOW

Sets Relay 1 to trigger when flow is detected by the control.

Relay 1 Trigger - PULSE

Sets Relay 1 to generate a dry-contact signal output.

Relay 1 Setpoint - PULSE

Sets the meter pulses per gallon (PPG) for the pulse trigger.

First Level History Screens

Days Since Last Regen

Displays the number of days that have passed since the last regeneration.

Volume Since Last Regen

Displays the total gallons of water processed since the last regeneration.

Reserve Capacity Display

Displays the calculated reserve capacity of the water softening system.

Gallon Usage History

Displays past 90 days of water usage history, with indicators for regen, manual regen, or errors.

Gallon Usage by Hour

Displays gallon usage for specific hours within the last 90 days.

Tank Transfer History

Displays a history of the last 10 tank transfers, including type and gallons.

First Level History Screens (Continued)

Peak Flow Rate History

Displays peak flow rate history over the last 7 days.

Total Gallons Used

Displays the total gallons used by Meter 1 since the last reset.

Total Days in Service

Displays the total number of days the unit has been in service.

Total Regenerations

Displays the total number of regenerations the unit has performed since startup.

Brine Concentration History

Displays brine concentration history for the last 50 regenerations.

Voltage Consumed and Brine Draw Time

Displays voltage consumed and brine draw time for the last 50 regenerations.

Total Brine Errors

Displays the total number of errors recorded from all brine cycles.

MAV Drive Time History

Displays MAV drive time history for an active MAV 1 output.

Second Level History Screens

Software Version Display

Displays the current software version of the control unit.

Total Gallons Used (Second Level)

Displays total gallons used by Meter 1 since startup (non-resettable).

Total Days in Service (Second Level)

Displays total days unit has been in service (non-resettable).

Total Regenerations (Second Level)

Displays total regenerations since startup (non-resettable).

Total Brine Errors (Second Level)

Displays the last ten valve errors that occurred.

Error Log Display

Displays the error log, including motor position during the error.

Error Codes and Descriptions

Error Code 101: Unable to Start

Valve not sensing valve movement with motor energized.

Error Code 102: Motor Stalled

Valve unable to find next cycle position (stalled).

Error Code 103: Motor Ran Too Long

Valve unable to find next cycle position.

Error Code 104: Valve Homing

Valve unable to find Home position.

Error Code 106: MAV 1 Ran Too Long

MAV 1 motor ran too long, unable to find proper park position.

Error Code 107: MAV 1 Stalled

MAV 1 motor ran too short, unable to find proper park position.

Error Code 109: Invalid Motor State

Control detected an invalid motor state.

Error Code 116: MAV 2 Ran Too Long

MAV 2 motor ran too long, unable to find proper park position.

Error Code 117: MAV 2 Stalled

MAV 2 motor ran too short (stalled).

Error Code 201: Invalid Regen Step

Control detected an invalid regeneration cycle step.

Error Code 204: Leak Detected

Leak detected by the control system.

Error Code 402: Power Down Memory

Check sum error for operational data and status section of EEPROM memory.

Error Code 403: Program Memory

Check sum error for programming section of EEPROM memory.

Error Code 404: Diagnostic Memory

Check sum error for diagnostic section of EEPROM memory.

Error Code 405: History Memory

Check sum error for history section of EEPROM memory.

Error Code 406: Contact Memory

Check sum error for contact screen section of EEPROM memory.

Error Code 407: Status RAM Memory Failure

Control operation affected by corrupted data in RAM memory.

Error Code 408: Diagnostic RAM Memory Failure

Control operation affected by corrupted data in diagnostic RAM memory.

Error Code 410: Config Download

Configuration file downloaded does not match software revision.
