If your Weber Grill burner doesn't ignite when you push the igniter button, and match lighting is successful, the issue is likely in the ignition system. Refer to “ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM OPERATION.” Also, check if a fresh battery is installed correctly, referring to “ELECTRONIC IGNITER INSPECTION.” Ensure wires are correctly inserted into terminals on the ignition box, as described in “ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM OPERATION,” and remove any plastic wrapping from the new battery.

      Austin SalasAug 19, 2025
If the burner on your Weber Grill does not light or the flame is low, first replace the LP cylinder if the LP fuel is low or empty. Next, check to see if the fuel hose is bent or kinked, and if so, straighten it. If you can light the burner with a match, then check the ignition system. Also, ensure the gas hose is properly connected to the burner tube using the metal retaining clip provided. Warning: Do not use the gas ignition feature if the retaining clip is missing.
