Warranty Limitations
The Warranty does not cover Product failures or defects resulting from:
Inappropriate use of the product relative to the Rating Definitions.
Normal wear and tear, and corrosion.
Failures due to inadequate maintenance not in accordance with the Operating and
Maintenance Manual.
Improper storage.
Improper fuel, lube oil or coolant and/or contaminants in fuel, lube oil or coolant.
Installation not in accordance with the instructions of SIMB.
Modification of products manufactured without the consent of SIMB.
Owner’s or Operator’s negligence, accidents, misuse or neglect.
Use of non-Genuine SIMB Spare parts.
Damage as a result of climate or natural disasters, social conflicts, and all other
cases of force majeure.
Warranty of Spare Parts
The Warranty for spare parts is 6 months from the date of delivery. The Warranty
excludes any damage related to inappropriate assembly or poor use of the spare parts
in question. The Warranty covers the replacement or repair of spare parts recognised as
defective. The shipping costs of the replacement spare parts are covered by the Warranty.
The labour required for replacement of spare parts recognised as defective is not
included under the spare parts Warranty.
Warranty of Services
The Warranty for work carried out by an SIMB Authorised Representative is 6 months
from the date of completion of the works.
